While originally a pejorative name for the city of Grand Junction, "Junktown" is beginning to be embraced by the creative and artistic communities of our town.

Set in Grand Junction, CO, the largest city between Denver and Salt Lake City, the Junktown Film Festival is a one-evening event hosted at the Historic Avalon Theater in the heart of downtown, with easy access to award-winning restaurants and breweries.

Our 2024 festival was the first with our re-brand and it was an incredible success—the community came out in great support and we are looking forward to an even bigger festival this year.
